Thrive and Shine Therapy Hub is a dedicated space where children and individuals are empowered to build confidence and foster their own communication styles and feeding abilities, through personalised speech therapy services. Our goal is to create an environment where every individual's unique communication and feeding journey is supported, allowing them to shine during meaningful connections and joyful mealtimes.
Our Team
Ling (Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and Feeding Consultant) is the founder and Lead Speech Pathologist at Thrive and Shine Therapy Hub, a place built to support individuals and families with warmth, clarity, and evidence-based care.

Ling is a bilingual clinician (speaks both English and Cantonese). She has worked in both public health settings and private NDIS setting, where she held Team Lead and Senior Speech Pathologist roles and also practiced as a Feeding Consultant. She understands the real challenges individuals and families face and the kind of support that makes a difference. She has worked and led multidisciplinary teams, established a speech pathology department from the ground up, and continues to mentor clinicians as a clinical supervisor as well as practicing as a Feeding Consultant/practitioner.

Ling's therapy approach is grounded in empathy and expertise, offering personalised therapy for individuals with communication, feeding, and complex developmental needs. We provide assessment and intervention in different areas including

Helping with pronunciation, articulation, clarity, sound production and development
Language
Supporting and helping individuals understand and use words to interact and communicate
Fluency & stuttering
Guiding and supporting individuals experiencing speech interruptions including stuttering
Literacy
Augmentative and Alternative communication AAC
Building strong foundations in reading, spelling, writing and comprehension skills
Using High- Tech and Low- Tech tools, strategies and devices to support communication beyond words
Dysphagia/ Feeding Clinic
Offering assessments and management for safe swallowing (modified diets), oral motor skill development, oral sensory challenges, mealtime enjoyment and medically supported feeding transitions (tube to oral feeding transitions).
Clinical Mentoring Hub
Supporting clinicians in developing and consolidating skills in areas such as clinical decision making, specialised clinical interest areas (e.g. Feeding, CAS, AAC), professional identity and development along with team coaching and collaboration

We offer mobile, telehealth, and in- hub services within the St George and Sutherland Shire areas. Our in- hub sessions are delivered in collaboration with Health Hub Narwee, providing families with a calm, dedicated space for therapy.
